TRANSITIONAL HOUSING PROGRAM

Black Mothers In Power is committed to supporting Black mothers and families in Delaware through every stage of their journey. Our Sisterhood Housing Transitional Program provides temporary, supportive housing for women with children who are working toward stability and independence.

What is Transitional Housing?

Transitional housing is a bridge between homelessness or unstable living conditions and long-term, stable housing. Our program offers a safe and supportive environment where mothers and children can focus on rebuilding their lives while receiving essential resources and guidance.

  • Must live or work in Delaware.

  • A demonstrated commitment to personal and financial growth is encouraged

-Mental health and substance abuse support

Why Transitional Housing?

Unlike emergency shelters, transitional housing focuses on long-term growth and self-sufficiency, offering residents the tools and support they need to build a stable future.
