Regina Dupriest

Transitional House Program Manager

My name is Regina Dupriest, and my life has been a journey of growth, challenges, and triumphs that have shaped me into the woman I am today. I was born in Philadelphia, PA, but my story truly began when I moved to Chesapeake, VA, where I grew up and learned some of life’s most valuable lessons.

I was raised by my grandparents, who instilled in me the values of hard work, resilience, and compassion. They provided me with a strong foundation, teaching me the importance of family, faith, and perseverance. Growing up in their care shaped me into the woman I am today, and I am forever grateful for their love and guidance.

I pursued my education with a strong desire to build a career that would provide stability and opportunities for growth. I studied to become a paralegal, a field that deepened my understanding of justice, advocacy, and the importance of standing up for others. Today, I proudly serve as an administrator at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP), where I contribute to the essential work of helping others. Additionally, I have a creative side that allows me to express myself through event decorating, a passion that brings joy to both myself and those I work with.

Life has not always been easy, and I have faced some of the darkest moments imaginable. As a survivor of sexual assault and domestic violence, I have experienced pain that could have broken me. However, instead of allowing my past to define me, I used my experiences as fuel to rebuild my strength and reclaim my life. My journey of healing has not only empowered me but has also given me the ability to help others who are struggling to find their own way.

One of the greatest blessings in my life is my family. I am a proud and loving mother of six beautiful children—four boys and two girls—who are my greatest source of joy and strength. Watching them grow and become their own individuals fills my heart with pride. Additionally, I am blessed to be a grandmother to my precious granddaughter, who has brought a new level of love and happiness into my life.I have also been fortunate to share my life with my husband, my partner, and my best friend. We have been married for almost 19 years, and together we have built a life filled with love, laughter, and resilience. Our journey has had its ups and downs, but our commitment to one another and our family has remained unwavering.

Beyond my career and family, I find joy in simple yet meaningful activities. I have a deep love for baking and cooking, which allows me to express my creativity and share warmth with others. Family is incredibly important to me, and I cherish every moment spent with my loved ones. These moments remind me of what truly matters—love, connection, and togetherness.

One of the core principles that guide my life is, “Only put out what you do not mind getting back.” I believe in the power of kindness, respect, and treating others with the same dignity that I expect in return. I have also learned that self-worth is crucial to one’s growth. Understanding and embracing my own value has allowed me to walk through life with confidence, purpose, and a commitment to uplifting others.Through my experiences, I have discovered a calling—to help others find their place in society. Whether through personal support, mentorship, or simply sharing my story, I strive to be a source of encouragement and inspiration for those who feel lost or alone.

Looking ahead, my greatest aspiration is to reach as many mothers as possible, helping them reclaim their strength, confidence, and purpose in today’s challenging world. I want to create a space where women feel empowered to embrace their worth and build a future that aligns with their dreams. My journey has not been easy, but every obstacle has made me stronger. Through resilience, faith, and an unbreakable spirit, I continue to move forward, determined to make a difference in the lives of those who need it most. This is my story, and it is far from over.
