Keda Dorisca
Keda is committed to giving back, advocating, connecting to the community, and helping those in need to excel and succeed. Keda is the Unite Us Community Engagement Manager supporting the Unite Delaware and Unite Maryland Eastern Shore networks. In this role serves as a trusted partner to community-based organizations by being an expert resource and an active listener who is continually engaged. Previously, she was a Program Coordinator of the non-profit Pathways to Success, Inc. at Seaford High School and an Expansion Coordinator with Public Allies Delaware.
At Seaford High School, she served as the Pathways to Success liaison for Seaford High School, providing direct case management, career counseling, and overall life coaching and life skills instruction. As an Expansion Coordinator, she focused on program development and delivery, community assessment, partnerships, and collaboration.
Keda is currently involved in different community initiatives and programming. She is part of the Sussex County Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Incorporated, Sussex Housing Group, Health Literacy Delaware, Youth Philanthropy Board (Sussex Advisor), Co-Chair/Founder of the Haitian Coalition of Delaware, and Fund For Women( Sussex Committee and Young Founders).
Keda Dorisca is a graduate of Delaware State University in Dover, DE. She received her degree in Political Science with minors in Law Studies and Women and Gender Studies. During her college career, Keda participated in a multitude of organizations. She illustrated her leadership skills, ability to work collectively with others, and to think critically. The offices she has held include DSU Class President- Freshman and Sophomore Year, Lead Mentor for Teach for America-First Generation Mentors Program, and Member of the National Society of Leadership and Success. Keda is also a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
In her free time, Keda enjoys learning and reading, volunteering, and trying new hobbies.
