Black Mothers In Power Inc. (BMIP) was birthed in October 2019. We hit the ground running and advocating for Black babies & women in Delaware. The pandemic could not slow us down, but it did prevent in-person events. As BMIP approach our 3rd year anniversary, we are excited to celebrate community, Black women, and our advocates, and Black liberation.
BMIP is working arduously to increase the number of Black Birth workers in our state, expand Doula service care to all birthing people, and we are tackling other important Reproductive Justice issues for our state. BMIP is focused on community awareness, community programming, and community organizing.
Join us on October 27th at 6:30 p.m. at the Christiana Hilton for our formal fundraiser dinner to raise money to address and eradicate the disparities in Black Maternal Healthcare.
